
Authorities are looking for two armed men who robbed someone outside a northwest Harris County home and then led deputies on a chase this morning.
Deputies say it all started with an armed robbery outside a home on Sweet Olive Way at Sugar Orchid early this morning. The two suspects, wearing masks and holding shotguns, according to authorities.
They were seen leaving the area in a red Charger. A deputy spotted that Charger on the highway a short time later.
“They were attempting to make a pursuit on the vehicle when he attempted to flee northbound on Highway 249. During the pursuit, the vehicle crashed out here at Geens and 249,” said Sgt. David Hilborn with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspects got out and fled on foot. Deputies called out a K-9 unit to help track them down, but as of yet, have not found them.
Deputies say they found two shotguns inside the vehicle left behind. They also say the man who was robbed wasn’t injured.
