It was a terrifying night for a family in Sugar Land after several men barged into their home and held them up. One of the the victims was beaten.

It happened at a home on Baldwin Crossing near University and New Territory around 9:45pm.

Detectives say someone knocked on the door. When a family member opened it, at least four men pushed their way into the home. They beat a woman over the head with an unknown object.

That woman was transported to an area hospital with a head injury. Her condition is not known at this time but someone inside the home did say that everyone was OK.
