A woman was arrested in Fountain Valley on suspicion of stabbing her boyfriend multiple times.
According to investigators, Lauren Beatriz Pettit, 45, told police she stabbed her 33-year-old boyfriend on Monday because he wanted to die.
The victim was taken to a hospital and underwent surgery for his injuries. His condition was not immediately known.
Pettit was arrested for attempted murder and booked into the Orange County Jail.
